一、课程性质、目的和任务  

After learning this subject, student can master the law or principles of microeconomic and macroeconomic running, marketing economy’s characteristics can be recognized, furthermore, the relationship between market economy and government also be recognized. As a result, student can use the economic principles as tools to analyze economic phenomenon, student’s ability concerning analyze problems and resolving problems on the aspect of marketing economic being improved to a great degree.

二、教学内容、方法及基本要求 

(一)教学内容

1.       The whole content being divided as two sections: Part 1 being microeconomics; part 2beingmacroeconomics.

2.       The fundamentals of economics

3.       The shifting boundary between markets and government

4.       basic element of supply and demand

5.       applications of supply and demand

6.       demand and consumer behavior

7.       production and business organization

8.       analysis of costs

9.       The behavior of perfectly competitive markets

10.    Imperfect competition and its polar case of monopoly

11.    Oligopoly and monopolistic competition

12.    Uncertainty and game theory

13.    How markets determine incomes

14.    The labor market

15.    Land and capital

16.    Markets and economic efficiency

17.    Government taxation and expenditure

18.    Curbing market power

19.    Protecting the environment

20.    Efficiency vs. Equality: the Big Tradeoff

21.    overview of the macroeconomics

22.    Measuring Economic activity

(二)教学方法

Teacher Talking lessons by way of multimedia. Teacher talks lesson being the main style, pert of the semester teacher can arrange student discussing some hot issues during the lesson, even part of the excellent student can covey its own point of view instead of teacher.

(三)教学要求

After learning the whole content of this lesson, student must master all the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, including: firm theories; demand-supple theories; competition theories; marketing construction theories; game theories; elasticity theory; consumers behavior theory; producer behavior theories, etc.. Student  must improve its ability of analyzing problems and resolving problems in an  economic way.

三、实践环节的内容、方法及基本要求

Finishing an article in field of economic theory or practice, which letters must be up to 5000; organizing student discussing hot issues concerning modern Chinese economic development.
